Talent pools give your agency access to qualified candidates who are already on a hiring certificate and interested in similar jobs at any agency. You can use the talent pool if you are hiring for a position that has the same series, grade, promotion potential and location listed on the talent pool. Select Talent Search from the homepage and then Search Talent Pools to view the available talent pools. When you select a talent pool, you will see a list of candidates who have confirmed their interest in being considered for a position at your agency. Select the candidate’s name and then you can review their resume.
If you want to hire a candidate listed in a talent pool, you must contact your agency’s shared certificate coordinator to request access to the hiring certificate and the candidate’s application materials from the originating agency. The hiring certificate and application materials are in the originating agency’s Talent Acquisition System (TAS), such as USA Staffing. You will then complete any additional hiring tasks using the TAS.
How to find my agency’s shared certificate coordinator
When logged into your Agency Talent Portal (ATP) account, select My Account in the upper right corner of your dashboard. There will be a list of your agency contacts on the right side of the page. If your agency has a designated shared certificate coordinator, their name will be listed under the shared certificate coordinator role. Click on their name to email them.
You can also find your agency’s shared certificate coordinator’s name at the top of a CSA talent pool. Select a CSA talent pool title to open the talent pool. Under the talent pool name, it will list the name of the person at your agency who shared the talent pool. This person is your agency’s Shared Certificate Coordinator. Select the name to email them.
If you are unable to find your agency’s shared certificate coordinator in the list, contact the help desk.
