For an agency’s event to be approved, it must be an actual event, training, workshop or informational session that a job seeker could register to attend virtually or in-person. Examples of events include:
- Hiring fair
- Navigating USAJOBS and the federal job application session
- Resume or interview workshop
- Career or agency informational session
- Agency participation in a third-party event such as a university career fair
Once you submit your event, a team member from the USAJOBS program office will review it within two business days. If approved, the event gets posted on the USAJOBS Events page.
Submissions with resume collections and job postings that don’t include an actual event do not qualify as an event and will not be approved.
If your event is not approved, a team member from the USAJOBS program office will inform your agency of the reason and your agency will have the opportunity to resubmit an improved version of the event.
