The acceptable use policy outlines the policies you must follow to use ATP. If you violate any of these policies, your agency can take disciplinary action or revoke your ATP account. You accept this policy when you request and are granted an ATP account.

You’ve agreed to the Agency Talent Portal rules of behavior
When using the Agency Talent Portal on USAJOBS, you are personally accountable for your actions and must:
- Only use the Blind Carbon Copy (Bcc) option when emailing more than one job seeker from a campaign.
- Protect all system data in accordance with federal laws and regulations including the Privacy Act of 1974.
- Protect system information from disclosure to unauthorized outlets including individuals, groups or social media.
- Acquire, disseminate and use system information only in accordance with the performance of official government duties.
- Protect information access by properly identifying agency employees eligible as users of the Agency Talent Portal, if you are an agency administrator.
- Ensure that information is accurate and relevant for the purpose it is collected, provided and used for.
- Protect your access authentication credentials and passwords from disclosure.
- Report security incidents and vulnerabilities to the USAJOBS program office.
- Use only government-approved equipment for accessing, storage or processing system information, in accordance with federal law and agency policies and procedures.
We reserve the right to monitor, terminate or suspend your access of the Agency Talent Portal without notice if you violate these rules of behavior.
